Judge in Meek Mill's Case Being Investigated by the FBI?

reactid="119">

According to Page Six, a source claims that the judge who delivered that harsh two to four years sentence to Meek Mill is being investigated by the FBI.

“The feds have an interest in the judge and her] potential relationships," the source told Page Six. "This is an investigation looking into a possible extortionate demand. Undercover agents have been in the courtroom monitoring the Meek proceedings since April 2016.”

Meek's lawyer, Joe Tacopina, has already said that he wants Judge Genece Brinkley  removed from the case.  Tacopina claimed that during a private meeting in February 2016, Brinkley asked Mill to record a version Boyz II Men’s ballad “On Bended Knee” and dedicate it to her. Mill reportedly laughed it f and told he that he doesn’t do that and Brinkley response was, “OK, suit yourself.”

"She's enamored with him," Tacopina told Billboard. "She showed up at his community service for the homeless people. She showed up and sat at the table. She's a judge. You could pull any judge in America and ask them how many times they've showed up at a community service for a probation and the answer is zero."

Yesterday, a protest rally was held in Philadelphia in support Meek Mill and other black men who have faced unfair sentences. Among those on-hand to voice support for Meek Mill were his labelhead, MMG president Rick Ross, and Philadelphia 76ers legend and NBA Hall Famer Dr. J.
