I'm most inspired by things like current affairs, biblical prophecy, history and good sci-fi novels @False_Freed0m

Where are you from?
I'm from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.

Describe your sound and tell us about the new project:
My sound - In years past I have predominantly been making pretty straight sounding, electronic based, Hip-Hop tracks and for this mixtape (Art Imitates Art #1) I just really felt I wanted to break away from that a bit. I've had a bit a love affair with vinyl for well over ten years now and I've always wanted to make something reminiscent the sound one might have found on a Hip-Hop mixtape back in the early 90's (haven't we all). I didn't JUST want to do that though, I really wanted to try to recreate the experience listening to a dusty old record throughout the entirety the mixtape.

Who inspires you?
Who inspires me - This is an interesting question indeed! I love music and I really like the sounds Hip-Hop groups like Wu-Tang Clan, Atmosphere and The Roots but I listen to all sorts music - Lots Hip-Hop and Trip-Hop, a bit punk, "Indie" (if that is really a genre), emo, prog... Whatever else you can throw at me... I wouldn't however say this is what most inspires me though, I think I'm most inspired by things like current affairs, biblical prophecy, history and good sci-fi novels (see - Brave New World & 1984).

Where do you see your career in 5 years?
In 5 years time I really just hope to be doing what I'm doing now, but to a bigger audience. I love being in the studio writing new songs, I love playing with all the toys, the sounds and the flashing lights (Seems a little childish when I say it out loud). I'm actually studying an electronic engineering degree at the moment, I like the gear that much! So ACTUALLY in 5 years time, I would like to be doing what I'm doing now, but to a bigger audience AND have a degree in electronic engineering.
