Chance the Rapper's 'Come Back, Barack' Is the Best Slow Jam Ever

Chance the Rapper yearns for Barack Obama to return in a hilarious parody music video on Saturday Night Live.

In the clip, “Come Back, Barack,” Chano alongside SNL cast members Kenan Thompson and Chris Redd channel Boyz II Men as the R&B trio dubbed D-Von-Tré. The group yearns about feeling lost without a strong leader to guide them with hopes that Barack Obama will come back into their lives.

"Every night, I turn the TV on and cry / I say why, I feel like we're all gonna die / So come back, Barack," the trio sing. "Even though it's not allowed / We want you back somehow / I need you in my life / So come back, Barack / We didn't know what we had / Now things are looking bad / Like really bad, like world war bad, like nuclear bad / So come back, Barack."

Sorry fellas, it's not going to happen.

The entire video does a fantastic job capturing that '90s R&B vibe that made such male groups like BBD, Jodeci and Dru Hill household names. In one scene, D-Von-Tré are singing in the pouring rain. "It definitely too cold to be rained on," sings Tré as he's getting drenched.

D-Von-Tré's "Come Back, Barack" is the best slow jam ever and one that will make yearn for Bam-Bam or possibly a Jodeci reunion. Check out the video above.
